How you can support us

Finacial Donations

Following the memorable visit of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in June of 2014, the current abbot of Sera Je Monastery, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Lobsang Delek, agreed to become our future abbot at the request of Lama Zopa Rinpoche and with the approval of His Holiness. We feel that these wonderful events have moved things in a positive direction.

Now for the future we really need your support more than ever!
On behalf of the monks and nuns of Associazione Sangha Onlus we thank you for your support that will enable us to contribute to the preservation of a culture of peace.

Quote from Lama Zopa Rinpoche
Lama Zopa Rinpoche said after making a donation for the construction of a new temple in the Deer Park Buddhist Centre founded by Geshe Sopa, in Wisconsin, 28 July 2004.

“In the sutra The Foundation of Awareness (Do drenpa nyershak), it is said that having established well the temple and the holy objects within it, as well as rooms and bedding required by the Sangha, one’s virtues will increase from life to life and for ten billion eons one’s merits will not be lost.
It is said that the virtues collected through bodhicitta are never lost and increase in every moment.
Likewise, the merit of building a temple in which the guru, Buddha, Dharma and Sangha – the holy objects – reside will increase continuously from life to life as you work, eat, sleep or engage in any action.
One creates many merits to be reborn as a wheel-turning king, deva or human, as many as there are atoms of the building.
For that many eons you will enjoy the results of that merit, as temporal happiness, ultimate happiness, and of course, enlightenment.“
