GJGmemoryThere are no adequate words to remind us of Geshe Jampa Gyatso. He was the light of our eyes.
He left us on November 27th of 2007.
These nine years have elapsed like a flash of lightning, and his presence in our memories remains intact. Sometimes we expect to see him turn the prayer wheel with the mala his hand or look out the door to smile at us and ask what we are doing, “kare ci ghi o?”.
Every corner of Istituto Lama Tzong Khapa, which for 30 years had been his home, is imbued with his presence and his blessed energy joins that of other holy lamas that have come here, to protect those who stay in this place.
Every year, his life becomes an even more, a shining example and his impeccable behavior inspires us, comforts us, and gives us courage.
Today, we still rely upon this great awakened yogi we had the great fortune to follow for a stretch of the road, at the time of the anniversary of his parinirvana, so he can still guide us, with the indestructible strength of the perfect teacher, in this and future lives.
